Structure
The Ultra-Thin Uncoupling Membrane consists of a high‑strength fiberglass and PP non‑woven fabric on both sides.
Application
This thin‑profile uncoupling mat is suitable for multiple indoor substrates including concrete, cement‑sand screeds, anhydrite screeds, timber plywood, existing tile refurbishment and underfloor heating systems. It applies to residential bathrooms, kitchens as well as medium‑heavy‑duty commercial areas such as offices and retail premises, compatible with ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, natural and engineered stone finishes. It absorbs substrate movement and bridges fine shrinkage cracks to mitigate tile cracking and delamination risks, for interior use only, not suitable for external or permanently wet environments.Cannot compensate for excessive vertical substrate deflection.
